Membership Information
Who Can Join?
To be eligible for voting membership you must manufacture a value-added product
in Arkansas. Suppliers, sawmills that produce and sell raw lumber without
further processing, retailers, and any others interested in promoting Arkansas’
wood products industry are invited to join as associate members.
Benefits
The Arkansas Wood Manufacturers Association provides numerous benefits and
activities for its members. The following are just a few of these many
benefits:

Technical bulletins and workshops provide information on issues that affect
your bottom line.

A united voice in the state legislature on insurance laws, tax incentives,
technology transfer, and extension service, as well as other proposed
legislation which directly and indirectly affect the state’s wood industry.

The Cutting Edge provides up-to-date information about issues that affect your
business.

The Annual Meeting provides a forum for an exchange of ideas among members.
Many members believe this exchange of information to be the number one benefit
of the association.

AWMA represents all members at national and international trade shows through
direct marketing contacts. AWMA connects prospects to the individual
manufacturer who can produce the item in demand. Through catalogs and
brochures, Arkansas manufacturers are showcased as world-class producers of
high quality wood products to out-of-state and global prospects.

Programs that provide discounts for insurance, freight, newsletter and AWMA web
page ads and internet services.
